Browns Fabric Supports Dollar-Binning Garment Industry With New $52M BOI Venture – Adaderana Biz
The Board of Investment Sri Lanka (BOI) last week signed an agreement with Browns Fabric Ltd. for a state-of-the-art, modern and one of the largest knitted fabric production facility in Kurunegala, North West Province.
The newly established fabric manufacturing plant with an investment of $52.3 million plans to start operations in August 2023. The company has taken the initiative to fill a significant gap in supply and demand, flexibility and speed to produce cloth at export-oriented dollar earnings. the garment industry in Sri Lanka.

Located 65 km from Colombo in Browns Industrial Park, Pannala, North West Province, the facility spans 22.5 acres and is strategically located close to many major garment companies and within delivery radius. two hours to serve the main industrial areas of the West. and central provinces.
