Concern grows for missing Coventry man

Police say they are concerned about the disappearance of a 40-year-old man from Coventry. The man, named only Carl, is believed to have disappeared sometime yesterday (April 3).

Carl was last seen around 1 p.m. Sunday. He was briefly heard from around 10pm last night, but has not been seen or heard from since.

His family and the police are said to be “concerned” about his well-being. Carl, who is 5ft 9in, wore a gray hoodie with dark gray sleeves, Dewalt work pants, a black sweater and black boots.

Police have urged the public to call 999 if they see him, citing RID977861. Coventry Police shared the following call on Twitter: “MISSING | Can you help find Carl? The 40-year-old from Coventry was last seen at around 1pm yesterday (Sunday) and although he was briefly heard from around 10 p.m., we and his family are worried about him.

“Carl, who is 5ft 9in, was wearing a gray hoodie with dark gray sleeves, Dewalt work trousers, a black sweater and black boots. If you know where he is please call 999, quoting RID977861 Or if you have any other information, contact us on 101, or via live chat on http://west-midlands.police.uk.”
