Converse Japan Chuck Taylor All Star Hi “Work Pants”

Converse Japan may be headquartered far from America, but that hasn’t stopped it from releasing a veritable Rodolex of Americana-inspired shoes, the latest of which is a Chuck Taylor All Stars-inspired collection. work pants. Available in high and low versions, the collection’s offerings are made from twill and feature reinforced stitching to ensure they correctly represent the tough chinos they are inspired by.

The “Hunter Green”, “Mustard” and “Black” colourways are available in both high and low styles and, as mentioned above, each has an upper constructed entirely from durable twill fabric. Along with the choice of material inspired by work clothes, each Chuck also features alternate stitching on its heel with a wider pitch than usual to nod to the reinforced seats of work pants. The standard All Star badges, metal eyelets and white laces remain unchanged, as does the classic rubber toe cap and midsole fitted with fox stripes. Brown rubber outsoles complete the look.

The Converse Japan Chuck Taylor All Star work pants collection is now available in full family sizes via Converse Japan. Adult pairs are priced at JPY 7,150 (around $ 65 USD), children’s pairs at JPY 5,170 (around $ 47 USD), and infant pairs at 4,950 (around $ 45 USD). All prices are inclusive of VAT.
