Workwear Couture by Stina Peters incorporates CORDURA fabrics for a new approach

Stina works with CORDURA Advanced Fabrics to introduce youthful designs and inspiring concepts into today’s women’s workwear.

Stina was a finalist for the Engelbert Strauss Special Award Workwear Couture at Frankfurt Fashion Week. She chose CORDURA because she felt the fabrics combine strength, durability, versatility and durability at a high level.

She explains: “One of the most important aspects is the longevity of the fabrics. CORDURA fabrics have built-in durability which makes my workwear designs even more durable. In today’s market, I have seen little choice for women’s clothing for a physically demanding job. Promoting the future of women’s workwear is very important to me, because personal safety at work begins with suitable clothing that is both functional and flexible. I like collaborating with brands that allow workers to get the most out of the garment.

Crafter Collection selects CORDURA fabrics to revolutionize the cut of workwear for women
In search of innovative fabrics that offer both durability and elasticity, Crafter Collection discovered CORDURA; recognized as an innovative leader in the production of advanced fabrics, known for their strength and durability.

Together with CORDURA on their three womenswear products, Crafter Collection has selected two different types of CORDURA technologies. The Crafter Women’s Work Pant is made from CORDURA NYCO fabric enhanced with Sapphire Mills MoveX technology. While the Crafter Women’s Multi-Pocket Vest and Crafter Women’s Tool Pants use both MoveX technology and CORDURA reinforcement on key stress areas.

Ashleigh Condliffe, Head of Crafter, comments: “The launch of the Crafter collection, which focuses on workwear for women, is the result of researching and finding a real gap in the market. We have found that there is a real lack of workwear for women that not only fits well, but is also very durable. We wanted to provide women with a collection of quality key pieces that last, and can survive the daily demands of industry trades. Masters of versatile and durable fabrics, I think CORDURA️ was the perfect fabric choice for Crafter Collection’s initial line.

A new choice of work trousers from the American specialist in women’s workwear Dovetail

With the development of Supercharged Noir CORDURA Denim from Artistic Milliners, the denim company of the future: Dovetail, Artistic Milliners and CORDURA have been able to collaborate to offer resistant and durable work pants, just like the women who wear them. This partnership marks the debut of Dovetail’s Maven and Britt styles powered by CORDURA Noir ‘No Fade Black’ denim.

By women, for women and with women, Dovetail Workwear is both a young company and the largest all-female workwear company in the northern hemisphere. Based in Portland, OR, Dovetail Workwear manufactures all-weather, all-purpose utility garments that stand up to work. Work clothes which, in their own words, are: “suitable for work and capable of anything” “Just like women,” says Sara DeLuca, co-founder, who recounts how it all began:

“We build radical pieces out of need. Women tell us what they want, and we go from there. Our latest Maven and Britt style pants with CORDURA ‘No Fade Black’ denim was born out of a demand from our most die-hard customers, who demanded the most durable pants possible. At the same time, we were getting requests for black pants that wouldn’t fade, from women who took on tough roles as roadies, theater technicians, and film crew. These pants are up to four times stronger than regular cotton denim and are comfortable and stretchy. There is also a built-in sustainable softness that comes from the soft Lenzing TENCEL wood-based modal fibers used. These fibers come from a blend of sustainable wood sources and this is important because sustainability is now a key factor for our customers.
