Kygo’s Palm Tree Crew and Siegelman Stable Collaborate for Norwegian Homecoming

Siegelman Stablefounded by New Yorker Max Siegelmann, has reached new levels of streetwear stardom, giving the brand a global reach. Since names like model Kendall Jenner, second generation NBA player Tim Hardaway Jr., and rapper Future, were seen in his synonymous embroideries, two-tone and tri-tone hats, the iconic horse and carriage took off into the fashion clouds. Siegelman’s formula is sustainable in that he drops limited amounts of items, delivering more inventory as needed. There’s also a familiar feel of horseback riding and equestrian culture here in America that draws customers in.

Today, Siegelman Stable is leaving an intimate collaboration with Norwegian DJ and music producer Kygo, who has made a name for himself around the world with his characteristic sounding music. These two came together, sharing Norwegian roots, with Siegelman remembering his grandmother’s country of origin and visiting her frequently. Kygo founded Palm Tree Crew, with his manager Myles Shear, a swimwear line for men and women, offering casual looks by the pool, from Hawaiian shirts to swimsuits and from sundresses to bikinis.

Whereas Siegelman Stable was born on the racetracks of New York and New Jersey, the lifestyle brand stops riding in the United States and racing as far as Oslo, Norway. The collection will be launched on July 1, 2022, at Nickname for Oslo retail store (Valkyriegata 3, 0366 Oslo, Norway), where buyers can preview the collection. The pop-up event will offer a time frame for an encounter with Kygo.

“My show in Oslo is one of the most special for me as it is my biggest performance to date in my home country. Being able to work with Siegelman Stable to create an exclusive Palm Tree Crew capsule makes this homecoming even more special, and I hope fans love it and wear it to the show,” Kygo mentions in an official statement about the collaboration.

Siegelman Stable, the racehorse stable, was founded in 1982 by Siegelman’s father, Robert. Max Siegelman reinvigorated the original logo and merchandise into a streetwear brand and aesthetic, offering clean wardrobe basics and reproducing memories of those sartorial moments for a growing young Siegelman. Today, he donates a portion of Siegelman Stable’s sales proceeds to equine therapy programs, just like his father did, donating time and training horses downtown. young people in Newark, New Jersey.

Max Siegelman sees this collaboration as another tribute to his roots and to the founding members of his family. “This fall is very special because of my grandmother’s heritage in Norway. She played a big part in my life, and I always want to do collaborations that tell another chapter of the Siegelman brand story. “Stable. I think the graphics and attention to detail used in these pieces does just that,” says Siegelman.

The Siegelman Stable x Palm Tree Crew is a six-piece capsule with a signature look. The collection includes three two-tone snapback caps with the “PTC” logo on the right, a t-shirt, a crewneck sweater and a classic work jacket in khaki with beach-inspired graphics incorporating the Siegelman Stable logo. “It’s exciting to have our second pop-up overseas and with Kygo, at such a special time for him,” Siegelman said of expanding his brand. Look for this capsule in Oslo, as well as to be featured online at siegelmanstable.com 2nd of July.
