MOUZ partners with PUMA to create new performance clothing for esports

German esports organization MOUZ, known as mousesports before being renamed earlier in October 2021, has entered into a partnership with sportswear giants PUMA.

Since the release of their rebranding announcement video on October 14, it is clear that MOUZ is preparing for the next stage of development. From a brand new brand to a potential entry into Riot Games’ Valorant, changes are on the horizon.

The German organization has now revealed the latest step in its reinvention plan, partnering with one of the world’s largest sportswear manufacturers: PUMA.

Thanks to this new agreement, MOUZ and PUMA will begin their collaboration during the next PGL Major in Stockholm. The first collection from them includes a “performance line” and a more casual merchandise line.

The length of the deal has not been disclosed, although a statement describes it as a “long-term partnership.” Financial terms were also not disclosed at the time of publication.

PUMA is now well established in esports, and has partnered with organizations such as Cloud9, Natus Vincere, Gen.G, ORDER, Entropiq, EVOS Esports and Manchester City’s esports division.

“The partnership with PUMA is an important milestone for mousesports,” said Jan Dominicus, Director of Business Development at MOUZ. “We are extremely proud that PUMA has decided to choose MOUZ for its entry into the German esports community.

“I am very happy that after our rebranding we are able to provide our fans with the highly functional and stylish products that we have designed with the PUMA team. It is now up to us and our teams to represent PUMA on the major stages of the esports world.
