No Sesso and Levi’s launch a Denim Apparel Collab collection
Let’s talk about Levi’s denim. Rich in over 100 years of craftsmanship, the Beyoncé brand of denim is home to fashion’s wardrobe essentials. Not to mention, his signature denim serves as the perfect canvas for disruptive tastemakers like NIGO, Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears, Jaden Smith and Vivienne Westwood.
Levi’s defiant roster now includes Los Angeles-based brand No Sesso, which is bringing fashion-forward demeanor to its next collaborative collection.
Founded by Pia Davis and Autumn Randolph, No Sesso is an inclusive, gender-neutral brand known for its unorthodox design ethos where bralette and panty sets become knitwear, strappy dresses are barely there, and smiley faces are plentiful.
Clearly, No Sesso has never been one to follow the fashion crowd, so it’s no surprise that the brand has transformed classic pieces into lingerie-inspired denim for its Levi’s collection.
Chains and whips may turn Rihanna on, but zippers and shoelaces do the trick for No Sesso.
The trucker jacket and flared jeans from the Levi’s x No Sesso collection get the zipper treatment, where no shame comes if your fly is down in this case.
Zipped, the denim adopts an offbeat but structured touch. At the same time, unzipping gives fashion daredevils sparkle and edge, making the pieces adaptable to different tastes and physiques.
Of course, I can’t forget No Sesso’s baggy Levi’s jeans, whose zip-up details offer great jort action depending on your mood.
Also worth noting is the loose jeans’ vertical embroidery mimicking a garter set – a clever nod to No Sesso’s lingerie inspo, given that a garter is a popular intimate piece used to hold up stockings.
Then, the corset trucker jacket shows a lacing detail on the front and back of the garment, matched with ties on the sleeves.
Like the jeans-turned-jorts in the collection, the corset trucker can also slip into a cropped jacket where the laces have a more elongated look.
For No Sesso fans, you may have already spotted the Levis collab when it debuted at the brand’s Fall ’22 presentation.
Well, now the wait for No Sesso x Levi’s is over. You can zip (or lace) your pieces from June 8 at Levi’s on line shop.
