The Tauranga Fringe Festival is taking place today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tauranga Historic Village. The public will be able to visit the workshops of the artists installed in the village, and stay there for a whole day of entertainment, music and markets. As part of the traffic light system, Covid-19 vaccination certificates will be checked upon entry. Admission to the event for all dates is $10 and those under 14 can attend for free.

The Tauranga South Community Patrol Car Boot Sale and Sausage Sizzle takes place this morning at Tauranga Racecourse from 6.30am to noon. A single site is $5 and a dual site is $10. For more information, click here

Pepi Toot is out today at Mount Maunganui. Departing from outside the Spongedrop Cafe in Salisbury Ave, the train offers local views of both beaches as well as Mount Mainstreet. Pepi Toot operates from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
